I moved west from London to the rugged coast of Bude in North Cornwall to give myself more time to do the things I love to do… Going for walks with my Husky or for a surf/swim in the beautiful Atlantic waters.

I now work from my studio space in North Cornwall. Appledown is my own photographic studio set in the peaceful gardens of my home in Bude. The studio is equipped with a wide range of professional lighting, cameras, lenses, props and software. I am always happy to discuss projects to be shot in my studio, on location or in your own space.

This website is a portfolio of my work that I have put together to show the various aspects of my photography. For the last 15 years I have worked with a wide range of clients and brands, all with their own briefs and creative ideas. I like to work closely with my clients to achieve an aesthetic which is in keeping with their look and branding.

Bude Surf Images

Bude Surf Images is a project born from my love of the ocean and the vibrant surf community here in North Cornwall. After years of shooting the waves, the people, and the ever-changing coastline, I’m excited to finally bring these photographs together in my online Print Store.

Each print captures a moment from the local surf scene — from sunset sessions sessions at Summerleaze to heavy winter swells — and celebrates the surfers who make Bude and the surrounding areas such a unique place to live and create.
